Corresponding source and build instructions
These downloads contain the exact package source, libheif and libde265 sources, and build instructions for the independently loaded decoder. The decoder is copied unchanged from heic-to 1.6.7 at revision 78345a3. Its source header and README specify libheif 1.23.7, libde265 1.0.16, USE_WASM=0 and USE_UNSAFE_EVAL=0. The libheif archive includes build-emscripten.sh; the heic-to README documents the compiler-tool path adjustment and rebuild commands. Optional AOM, WebCodecs, uncompressed and OpenJPEG codecs are disabled by default.

Replacing the decoder
The decoder is an unmodified, separate module at libheif.mjs. It is loaded at runtime and is not compiled into FileTavi’s application bundle. An interface-compatible modified version at that address will be used after the page and browser cache are refreshed. You may replace it on a copy of the site you host, or through browser local overrides. There is no runtime integrity check preventing replacement. Modification of these library portions and reverse engineering for debugging those modifications are permitted under their licenses.
